The infinity pool offers spectacular views over the lake, creating a relaxing atmosphere for swimming. The rooftop terrace for breakfast provides an enjoyable setting with a varied selection of pastries, but it could use more savory options to balance the offerings.
The location near a busy road led to noticeable traffic noise, which detracted from the overall tranquility of the stay. I found the lack of air conditioning in the warm weather slightly uncomfortable, making it hard to cool down. the restaurant’s inconsistent availability forced me to search for other dining options during my stay.

Staying at the Auberge in Saint-Marcel-les-Annonay was a thrilling experience for my family. The serene lake views, coupled with the engaging local trails for cycling, kept my teenage sons active and happy. We relished delicious meals by the lake, with the outdoor dining adding a delightful touch, although the cold reception upon arrival was a minor hiccup. We can’t wait to return for summer swimming in the inviting pool!

A family getaway that's quite an experience!
We had access to bikes and cycled around the breathtaking lake, the views are just stunning! ! Plus, the dinner at the restaurant was a real treat, especially the lobster – cooked to perfection!
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but still reasonable enough for the experience.

The warm welcome and helpfulness of the staff stood out, especially when accommodating our late arrival with two dogs. The comfortable family room provided a lovely stay, and the breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake was memorable, though the orange juice could have been fresher. With access to bike rentals and scenic trails around the lake, this serene location is perfect for families looking to unwind and explore nature.

Our room was cozy and elegant, with a high-end shower system that delivered a luxurious experience.
